ACTOR'S SPOTLIGHT
Actors this event is for you!
The Worldwide Women's Film Festival and The Bridge Initiative have teamed up to create this fun event.
We will select 20 actors to perform a monologue or scene in front of an audience on February 16, 2023.
Submissions are open from November 1 thru December 31, 2022.
Notifications go out on January 16, 2023.
This event is open to both union and non-union members!
To be part of this inaugural event, please submit the following through FilmFreeway.
- Headshot (Submit on the Dashboard tab of FilmFreeway)
- Name of the city you live in
- Telephone Number
- One-minute monologue or one minute and 30 seconds scene taped
- Information on the piece
- Demo reel (if you have one)
- Monologues are $5.00 and Scenes are $10.00
ABOUT THE EVENT
Guidlines and judging
You will be performing your monologue or scene in front of an audience. There could be kids in the audience. We ask that you exercise good judgment when picking your performance piece.
We say to make them PG-13 or R.
Judges will be in the audience and you will be rated on your interpretation and performance of the piece. We will be awarding prizes to the first and second place winners.
